Here for You!
How can we help
We know from what our clients share with us that taking the first step to reach out is really difficult and sometimes even frightening. We understand, and we are here to support in a way that works for you! There is no 'one size fits all' and we take a personalised approach, led by you and the changes you hope to achieve in your life.
Often when first contacing us there may be a sense of urgency and panic, that it is last chance saloon, and our admin and clinical team will be on hand to not just listen, but also to hear what you really need. You will be supported to access the appropriate help from our multidisciplinary team and find the inner resilience you need to face life in new ways.

What happens when you contact us...
When you first contact us we understand there may be a sense of urgency, and while it is important to understand we are not a crisis service that is available 24/7 or out of hours, we are here to support you in slowing down and making the right choices for you. We respond to all messages within 2 working days to meet your preference in terms of contact, however if you have asked us to email we may also send a text to let you know we have responded....as sometimes our message vanish in to spam folders!
We first arrange an initial meeting, predominantly online, or by phone; and in some situations this may be in person. The first person you may be in touch with is our wonderful and hardworking admin team. Depending on how you have contacted us, they may get in touch to gather a few more details, and check your availability too. They will then arrange an initial meeting with a member of the clinical team and send details to you.
The initial meeting is no longer than 30 minutes and there is no charge for this, the clinical team just want to get a good understanding of how things are for you, what you are looking to achieve, and a little about the circumstances and challenges that bring you to us. It is also a good opportunity for you to understand how we work and get a sense if we are the right service for you. Initial meetings are generally arranged within two weeks of contact. After an initial meeting, we ask that you take some time to consider if we are the right service for you and come back to us if you wish to book in for an assessment.
Our clinical team will then be beavering in the background to get you booked in for an assessment with a member of the clinical team. We ask potential clients to allow up to 1 1/2 hours for an assessment and our preference is that they are in person, even if we are working with you online. There are always exceptions, and these can be discussed with the admin or clinical team in confidence. There are no charges for assessments at this time, and generally depending on not just ours but your availability we get these booked in within a week or two.
As we get to know you a little better in the early weeks, we will be considering and thinking about how we support you, and during or soon after the assessment we will share our thoughts with you, seek your input and look to get you started on your therapy journey! Some of our clients are supported by more than one team member in capacities, and our clinical lead oversees all work undertaken. We are a low cost service with a suggested charge of £40 per session, we understand that this charge may still be a barrier to accessing therapy, and will look to support you in accessing our services regardless.
We are an in-demand service, and ask that if you are offered dates/times that you please let us know within 2 working days if possible. Our system auto-releases slots after this time, and if you miss a slot, don't worry, we can offer you another one.
